UAE: DEWA launches EOI for 800MW Solar PV

The Middle East Solar Industry Association confirmed that DEWA (Dubai Electricity & Water Authority) has officially launched the invitation to participate in the selection of a Development Partner for the 800 MW Solar PV IPP.

The new Solar PV Power Project will be located within the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Moktoum Solar Park, about 50km south of the city of Dubai. It will be commissioned in phases starting 2018, and DEWA will purchase the power under a long term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).

Developers interested in this project should submit an Expression of Interest no later than 12 noon on Tuesday 29th September 2015.
