MENA: Egypt FIT programme - important clarifications for Developer Consortia

The Egyptian New & Renewable Energy Authority (NREA) yesterday disclosed, subject to final NREA board approval, certain requirements for those Developer Consortia pre-qualified under the Egyptian FIT Programme.
The clarifications are in relation to:
- maximum MWs per consortia member;
- shareholding requirements for consortia participants and Lead Developer;
- minimum capital requirements for SPV; and
- ability to assign to an affiliate and create overseas holdco structure.
