Eversheds Sutherland (Belgium) has advised the shareholders of ARIES Real Estate Solutions (A-RES), a Belgian engineering company with a strong reputation for directing and managing real estate-related projects in Flanders, Brussels and Wallonia, on their successful sale to Sweco Belgium.
The Eversheds Sutherland team was led by corporate partner Koen Devos and associate Maxiem Devos.
ARIES Real Estate Solutions originated from the architectural and engineering firm ARIES, which was founded in 1974. Today the company counts 11 employees and has its offices in Ghent and Brussels.
Sweco is Europe’s leading architecture and engineering consultancy, with sales of approximately SEK 20.6 billion (EUR 1.9 billion). The company is listed on NASDAQ OMX Stockholm AB.
"Sweco fits in perfectly with the philosophy we have had in mind for more than 30 years in the total supervision and management of medium to large-scale construction projects, with a particular focus on the trinity that determines the success of a project: quality, timing and budget. We look forward to working together to provide our private and public clients with innovative and sustainable solutions, and to further expand the know-how in our services", says Luc-Georges Dubrulle, CEO of A-RES.
