ASPIRE Apprenticeship Programme

Non-Legal Apprenticeships

What is it?

The non-legal apprenticeship is designed to help you develop a career in professional services such as marketing, finance and facilities support. Combining on-the-job training with study at the BPP, this two-year programme will culminate in a full-time contract with Eversheds Sutherland and a qualification relevant to the team you are joining.

Why would I want to do it?

This apprenticeship offers the opportunity to forge a long-term career at one of the world’s biggest law firms whilst receiving an outstanding range of benefits including:

  • competitive starting salary of £17,200 in London and £15,200 outside London
  • 26 days annual leave with the opportunity to buy or sell holiday
  • employee recognition scheme
  • discounted gym membership options
  • pension scheme
  • subsidised staff restaurants on site
  • interest free season ticket loans
  • tax efficient bicycles and on site servicing
  • private medical insurance
  • life assurance
  • occupational health support
  • permanent health insurance
  • dental insurance

How does it work?

The apprenticeship training is delivered by BPP Professional Education Group. You will study a range of modules, normally online, covering the topics required by the awarding body such as City & Guilds or AAT. The most relevant apprenticeship will be selected based on the role you are undertaking, for example QCF Diploma in Business and Administration or AAT Diploma in Accounting. The Level 3 or Level 4 qualification will be offered depending on your current qualifications and scope within the role. In certain areas, such as marketing and HR, there would be the opportunity to study the CIM Certificate in Professional Marketing or CIPD Foundation Certificate in Human Resources Practice. Eversheds will support you with time off to attend webinars and complete observations, together with study leave for exams. In the work place you will carry out supervised work-based learning in order to meet both the requirements of your role and requirements of your course. On successful completion of your apprenticeship you will move into an appropriate non-apprentice role in your team. We would discuss further development and study needs as appropriate.

What is it

The apprenticeships combine on-the-job training with study through BPP Professional Education Group, enabling you to progress into a professional role in one of our Global Operations teams.
