Recent experience includes:
- acting for a state owned Asian buyer and importer of LNG in a multi-billion dollar gas price re-negotiation with its counter-party LNG seller under an SPA governed by English law and providing for London seated ICC arbitration
- acting for a Middle Eastern oil company in London seated arbitral proceedings regarding breaches of a long-term pipeline gas sales agreement valued in excess of $15bn, including detailed issues of gas price revision, foreign law, force majeure, pipeline and surface equipment failures, equipment capacity, gas price formulae, contractual interpretation, gas markets and overarching political issues
- acting for an international power generator in connection with high-value warranty claim proceedings against the former owners of Europe's biggest gas-fired power station
- acting for various energy clients, including major UK generators and independents, in various significant regulatory investigations by the UK energy sector regulator, Ofgem
- representing a Middle Eastern NOC as counsel and advocate in an ad hoc arbitration seated in Switzerland, valued in excess of USD$34 billion, for alleged losses arising from a pipeline project, including advice regarding a gas price review exercise and detailed technical issues relating to the fitness for service and capacity of pipeline, surface and sub-surface facilities
- representing an international power producer in relation to parallel litigation and arbitration claims advanced in both England and the UAE in connection with generating assets in Pakistan and Libya
- acting and counsel and advocate in connection with a US$ multi-billion dispute in the Iran-US Claims Tribunal
- acting for a global services provider in defending €300m+ IP infringement claims in the English High Court
- acting as in house General Counsel to a major energy generating client.

- acting as part of the cross-jurisdictional core team for a national oil producer in a long-running, multi-billion dollar gas supply Arbitration

- acting as part of the Eversheds Sutherland team supporting an energy supplier in a wide-ranging regulatory investigation by Ofgem

- acting for a consortium of local authorities in a complex dispute with their provider of waste management services under a 25-year PFI contract. Involved three sets of adjudication proceedings and Commercial Court proceedings
