Nadine Gutteridge assists clients on their journey to deliver net-zero by advising on the real estate elements of lateral infrastructure projects.

A Real Estate, Legal Director within Eversheds Sutherland's Energy sector, Nadine leads our lateral infrastructure team.  She focuses on the real estate elements of renewable energy projects, dealing with clients who are market leaders within the sector.  She is part of the client service leadership team for a number of key clients of the firm.

Nadine leads a team of legal advisors and paralegals securing the onshore land rights clients require for their overhead cables; pipelines; interconnectors (allowing for the flow of surplus energy between countries) and offshore wind farms.  Some of these projects, once constructed will be the largest of their kind in the world.  She has been a dedicated real estate lawyer since qualifying in 2007.

Providing strategic advice, negotiating voluntary agreements, due diligence, negotiating rights, cross-office and practice group collaboration and working closely with clients and their agents, Nadine has experience of advising on multi-million pound projects which have included multiple onshore landowner interests covering large expanses of the UK.

Nadine's broader experience includes acting for institutional clients in connection with acquisitions and disposals, and property management work, including landlord and tenant matters, corporate support, real estate finance work, and funders of commercial refinances and developments.

In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, running and walking the dog.  Nadine is a trailblazer for flexible working and passionate about diversity and inclusion.
