He advises in restructuring cases as well as in relation to insolvency proceedings, in particular in cross-border matters. He specializes in insolvency-related litigation and advises and represents domestic and foreign creditors, financially distressed companies and insolvency administrators in and out of court, in particular on issues of contesting payments in insolvency, directors’ and officers’ liability in insolvency and in connection with the enforcement and handling of securi-ty and third-party rights. He is a member of our China Desk and is also particularly experienced in handling cases related to Central and Eastern Europe.
Arndt is a co-author of legal commentaries on the German Insolvency Code (Insolvenzord-nung) and the German Enterprise Stabilisation and Restructuring Act (Unternehmensstabi-lisierungs- und restrukturierungsgesetz – StaRUG) and also publishes regularly on insolvency and procedural law issues.

Arndt Kaubisch studied law at the University of Passau with specialised foreign legal language studies in English law. Subsequently, he obtained an LL.M. in International Commercial and Business Law at the University of East Anglia in Norwich (England).
Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland in 2011, Arndt worked for a law firm in Bavaria special-ising in insolvency administration and in the Commercial IP group of an international law firm in London. From 2005 to 2010, Arndt also held frequent positions as a visiting lecturer at the Institute of Law of the Siberian Federal University in Krasnoyarsk (Russia) and at Cardiff University (Wales).
