David is a Partner in our Manchester office. He acts in all aspects of contentious landlord and tenant portfolio management, development and property disputes including:

David acts for investors, occupiers, insolvency practitioners, commercial and residential developers and local government.
David's recent experience includes:
- acting for a housebuilder client in its defence to a claim in trespass and in its counterclaim for losses, enabling the development of a significant number of homes in a prime location
- acting for a developer in a professional negligence claim against an architect
- advising a government body on its dilapidations liability at their landmark headquarters
- working with a national retail bank to consolidate its property portfolio from over 400 interests to below 100, including strategic acquisitions and disposals, lease renewals and all associated litigation
- providing rights to light advice to developer clients and devising strategies for mitigation of claims
