Stephen is the Head of Corporate of Asia and the Senior Partner of the Hong Kong office.

Stephen has over 25 years of corporate finance experience in providing legal services to various Chinese enterprises (including state-owned enterprises and privately-owned enterprises) and international investment banks.

He specializes in corporate restructuring of Chinese enterprises and assisting such enterprises to list on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. He is very experienced in advising Hong Kong listed companies on main securities transactions and compliance with the relevant securities regulations and law in Hong Kong.

 

Stephen’s recent experience includes advising:

  • AID Partners Capital Limited on its acquisition of entire issued share capital of HMV Hong Kong Limited, HMV Singapore Pte Ltd and brand rights in Greater China

  • AID Partners Capital Limited on its acquisition of minority stake in Prime Focus World N.V. for a consideration of US$10m and formation of a joint venture with Prime Focus Limited

  • BGMC International Limited in connection with its listing on HKSE raising approximately HK$405 million (sponsored by Fortune Financial Capital Limited)

  • BOCI Asia Limited as sponsor and underwriter in connection with the listing of Consun Pharmaceutical Group Limited on HKSE raising approximately HK$1.25 billion
