Hannah is a Legal Director and Head of Professional Support, providing front line PSL support to our  Commercial Dispute Resolution teams.

Hannah heads the professional support lawyer function for our Litigation and Dispute Management practice group, leading a team of PSLs to deliver strategic value through knowledge management and lawyer development activities.  The team keeps our lawyers up to date on new legal and procedural developments and provides training on key topics, including managing and mitigating risk, providing client support and acting as a sounding-board on complicated points of law or practice.

Before becoming a support lawyer, Hannah had over ten years in practice with experience in general commercial litigation, financial services, civil fraud and regulatory disputes. She advised clients on a wide variety of issues both pre-action and within proceedings, on a wide range of contractual, tortious and regulatory disputes including conversion, fraud, professional negligence, and payment services disputes.

As part of her fraud practice, Hannah advised clients from both regulated and non-regulated sectors, with a special interest in commercial fraud, injunctions/other emergency court applications, civil asset recovery cases, fraud investigations and bribery/corruption. Hannah was heavily involved in advising clients both in the UK and globally on the implications of the UK Bribery Act 2010, providing training, risk assessments and undertaking speaking engagements on the topic. She also led the firm's creation, development and sales campaign and project management of anti-bribery@work, Eversheds Sutherland's online e-learning package on bribery and corruption, which has is used by over 100,000 learners worldwide in 30+ languages.

Hannah is a solicitor-advocate with rights of audience in both civil and criminal courts in England and Wales.

Hannah has spoken numerous times at conferences and events on the topic of fraud and bribery and has led training sessions for clients covering a wide spectrum of dispute related topics.  She now regularly develops and delivers training for Eversheds Sutherland lawyers to enable them to develop their technical and legal skills.
