Thomas E. Pritchard

Professional Support Lawyer

Thomas is a Financial Services PSL delivering knowledge management, thought leadership and training that gets results, press coverage and client instructions.

Thomas is a Principal Associate and Practice Support Lawyer in the Financial Services team in our London office.  He has worked in legal knowledge management since 2002 in various fields, including financial services, insolvency, restructuring and banking.  He has experience delivering thought leadership programs, interactive training, effective and appropriate use of legal technology, process engineering, precedents, and ensuring knowledge functions support fee earners to work effectively, quickly and smartly in the office, WFH or on the move.

Thomas is adept at providing and managing international thought leadership programs that obtain press coverage and generate thought leadership business development and marketing successes for individual fee earners, departments and the firm as a whole, with a proven track record of using thought leadership to generate client instructions.  He encourages and supports fee earners to talk to the press, gives background briefing, and writes demystification pieces for journalists.

Thomas keenly understands how knowledge management can be utilized to drive and improve recruitment, retention and fee earner satisfaction.  He is a regular trainer on our NQ Diploma and on our Financial Services Training Programme, which he also curates and arranges, focusing on broadening the range of non-UK training.  He has a particular interest in developing soft skills training.  Pre-pandemic, he enjoyed delivering large thought leadership business development events for clients with international speakers in London, Edinburgh, Luxembourg and beyond (and hopes to do so again someday soon).

Previously a PSL in our Finance team, in February 2018, Thomas switched disciplines to support our Financial Services team.

Thomas participates in various PSL groups relating to financial services, funds and asset management.

Internally, Thomas is a key proponent of the CCPG PSL brand strategy.

Thomas is involved in most financial services client briefings, brochures and articles as either an author or an editor.

He regularly presents to internal and external audiences.

Thomas enjoys walking, traveling, cooking, and gardening in his spare time.  He supports a number of educational charities and is passionate about civil liberties.
