Matthew Storer is an experienced lawyer acting on large regeneration and infrastructure projects for the private and public sectors.

Matthew is a Partner in our Real Estate practice, having experience in complex development, regeneration and infrastructure projects. He acts in all aspects of such projects from site assembly, through funding, to development and disposal, and regularly co-ordinates the project management of our team in the delivery of procurement, public law, tax and subsidy control matters.

Matthew's recent experience includes:

  • acting for a public sector authority on major regeneration projects in London, including the disposal of land in Canning Town for residential development and its appointment of a industrial/ commercial developer partner as its master developer partner for the development of 16 industrial/ warehousing sites throughout East London
  • acting for a water company on a regeneration project with a city council, including acting on their successful Housing Infrastructure Fund application. This is required for the relocation of a waste water treatment works, to facilitate the delivery of over 5,000-unit residential development, and the selection of their development delivery partner
  • acting for a major UK developer on a residential regeneration project in Birmingham, including the exercise of options from the landowners
  • leading our team acting for a utilities company's property development company on disposal and development matters throughout their portfolio
  • acting for various English local authorities and other public sector clients on regeneration and infrastructure projects nationwide
