  • Advising Confido, one of the largest private medical service providers in Estonia. We advised Confido in relation to trademark violation claim made by the Estonian Red Cross. Allegedly, Confido violated the International Red Cross emblem in its trademark and logo used on its building and other business materials. Ultimately, after successful negotiations with Red Cross, we were able to reach a compromise and reach compliance with only small technical changes to our client`s trademark. We also advised upon structuring and drafting a full set of legal documentation for an online booking and payment system for the largest private medical institution in Estonia – Confido Healthcare.
  • Advising Eckstein Farben upon trademark violation by Akzo Nobel local company, Akzo Nobel Baltics AS.
  • Advising 15 former employees (developers) of Limestone Games OÜ, a gaming development company. The matter relates to fallout and mistrust between the development team and the managing director of the former employer Limestone Games who created an unbearable working environment, including harassed female employees.
  • Advising Eesti Keskkonnateenused, the largest waste management company in Estonia. During the past year we advised upon drafting a new privacy policy for the client, as well as representing the client in a complex administrative dispute in the Estonian Data Protection Board. The matter concerned the question of lawful use of personal data of the customer based on consent and/or legitimate interest.
  • Advising Respiray OÜ, an innovative producer who launched a wearable UV air purifier which is developed and designed specifically to protect the wearer from respiratory viruses, such as COVID-19. Shortly after becoming public with the product, the client’s EUIPO trademark registration was contested. We represented the client in pre-trial negotiations and currently in ongoing dispute at the EUIPO.
  • Advising Samsung Electronics, one of our key clients whom we help with various IP, IT, commercial and data protection matters on a daily basis.
