Antony is a Partner in our Corporate group and focuses on global M&A and treasury and structure projects for global major corporates, often for businesses in the Industrials and Technology sectors.
An M&A Partner within Eversheds Sutherland's Company Commercial Group, Antony is focused on global M&A and reorganization/treasury structure projects for major corporates, often for businesses in the Industrials and Technology sectors, particularly undertaking rest-of-world mandates for US and European headquartered businesses. He has worked as a dedicated M&A lawyer since qualifying in 2003 and has been an M&A Partner since 2011.
Antony works with a broad mix of clients, often on their most strategic M&A mandates. The bulk of his work is for large, multinational corporates looking to undertake deals internationally and/or cross-border. He uses this major corporate experience to also support entrepreneurs with their exit events, helping them realize their investment of time and effort. Antony also acts for a handful of particularly close Private Equity clients, supporting their buy-out transactions. In all cases, Antony is using his experience of working with global corporates to help clients get deals done.
Antony also has a deep level of experience of executing and leading highly complex and global reorganization/treasury structure projects. Often such projects are undertaken in the context of an M&A, whether a corporate carve-out or a spin transaction. Equally, he leads many such projects which are part of a legal entity rationalization program or corporate push to expand business into a new region, or similar. Finally, many projects relate to cash efficiency or global banking arrangements. In all cases, Antony is designing, interrogating and implementing playbooks to achieve complex projects to a US/global standard of service excellence.
Antony is client relationship manager for global clients including the likes of Avery Dennison, BearingPoint, Brady, Cisco, Eaton, Edwards Lifesciences, Halliburton, Kelly Services, Technip Energies, TechnipFMC and Tenneco.
In his spare time, Antony is a keen cyclist, a Formula 1 follower and a huge Prince fan.
