Nanette is a Counsel on the Litigation team specializing in international commercial arbitration and public international law.

Nanette also has wide experience in non-contentious oil and gas work and project financing, particularly in Africa and the Middle East.

She has written articles on arbitration for the 'International Arbitration Law Review' and OHADA business law for 'La Semaine Juridique'. She is a co-author of 'Business Law in Africa: OHADA and the Harmonization Process', 'Le droit uniforme africain des affaires issu de l'OHADA', 'Doing Business with Libya' and ‘Libya: A guide to commercial law, banking law and accounting’.

Nanette has spoken at conferences on maritime delimitation, sanctions issues and OHADA law.

Her recent experience includes:

  • advising the project company in relation to the project financing of a pan-African satellite telecommunications system
  • advising a national oil company in connection with the contractual framework for various LNG projects
  • assisting an oil company in negotiations relating to its participation in exploration and production sharing agreements in Libya
  • assisting a power producer in relation to an operation and maintenance agreement in West Africa

She is cited in Legal 500 EMEA for her work in international arbitrationa and public international law.
