15-02-2016
The US has updated Cuban Assets Control Regulations (CACR) to provide further easing of sanctions against Cuba. The amendments remove certain payment and financing restrictions for authorised exports and reexports to Cuba, excluding those related to agricultural goods, and further facilitate travel to Cuba for authorised purposes.
Other transactions related to professional meetings and other events, disaster preparedness and response projects, and information and information materials are also now permitted, subject to certain exceptions.
