On 18 December 2014, the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills released a notice stating that, provided there are no objections from the European Parliament or Council, the new regulation amending the Dual-Use Regulation (Regulation (EC) No 428/2009), and its corresponding Annex I, is expected to come into force on 31 December 2014.
