I am happy to introduce our third edition of Elevate – our Quarterly Construction Newsletter. 

Elevate provides an update from our UK Construction and Engineering team. We hope you enjoy reading and welcome any feedback that you many have. 

Amongst other important issues, this edition looks at:

  • the aspects of the Building Safety Act that came into effect on 28 June 2022

  • a recent Court of Appeal decision which confirmed when a party can adjudicate under a collateral warranty

  • a project-wider insurance policy which offered different cover for co-insureds

  • how parties can seek to achieve cost assurance on infrastructure projects.
