Armenia: Announcement on Prequalification Process for Masrik – 1 Utility Scale Solar Photovoltaic Power Project

The Armenia Renewable Resources and Energy Efficiency Fund (the Fund) at the request of the Ministry of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources of the Republic of Armenia, have recently issued a request for qualification (RFQ) for a grid-connected 55 MWp Masrik – 1 solar photovoltaic (PV) power plant in the Gegharkunik Marz region of the Republic of Armenia (the Plant).

The Plant will be developed on a Design, Finance, Build, Own and Operate basis by a Project Company to be incorporated in the Republic of Armenia. The Project Company will be wholly owned by the successful bidder. 

Interested bidders must register their interest with the Fund, and formally purchase the RFQ document for a non-refundable fee of twenty four thousand Armenian Drams (AMD24,000) (approximately 50USD). Only bidders designated as prequalified bidders will be eligible to participate in the RFP stage of the selection process, to be initiated by the Fund.

The deadline for submitting prequalification applications, in accordance with the RFQ requirements, is on 16 June 2017 by 15:30 Armenia time.
