UAE: DEWA invites tenders from EPC contractors for a solar PVRO desalination plant

The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority “DEWA” recently issued a new tender (RFX No. 2191500005) inviting companies to submit bids by 11 June for the design, installation and testing and commissioning of a pilot solar powered water pumping and reverse osmosis water desalination system (PVRO).
Further details as to the size and location of the project will be included in the tender documents and have not been released into the public forum at the time of drafting this e-bulletin.
The tender documents are available from collection at DEWA Head Office or online at a cost of AED1,000. Please note that a tender bond in the sum of not less than 5% of the total tender price must be submitted with all proposals
The closing date for submission of proposals is 11:00am on Thursday 11 June 2015.
