Government real estate tender
The Dutch Central Government Real Estate Agency (Rijksvastgoedbedrijf) develops, builds and manages real estate. For this they work together with market parties, such as construction companies and architects. The agency is the largest real estate manager in the Netherlands. They work through fair and transparent tenders and professional commissioning. They strive to be innovative and cost-conscious and pay attention to quality and social interests. The Central Government Real Estate Agency uses established procedures and model documents for tendering and awarding contracts. Standard contract conditions apply to the assignments.
Market consultation Sun (‘Zon’) project
The Central Government Real Estate Agency intends to launch a public tender in the second half of 2020 for the development of four solar parks located on and near junctions along the A7 in North Holland. The future operator will be given a right of use to install solar panels on the grounds. The Central Government Real Estate Agency is preparing this public tender together with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water management (Rijkswaterstaat) and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland).
Target group of the market consultation
The target group of this market consultation consists primarily of market parties with experience in developing, financing, operating, building and maintaining ground-based solar parks. Other interested parties are also invited to participate in the market consultation.
Project Sun
Project Sun along the A7 is part of the pilot program "Renewable energy on national land". This program examines and learns how national land can be used as optimally as possible and with public support for generating renewable energy. By making acreage available, the government is giving an important interpretation to the government-wide objectives of the SER Energy Agreement and the Climate Agreement.
