Eversheds Sutherland leads on gas storage acqusition

Eversheds Sutherland has advised Energetický a průmyslový holding, a.s. (EPH), on the acquisition, by its subsidiary EP UK Investments Ltd. (EPUKI), of Humbly Grove Energy Limited from PETRONAS, Malaysia's integrated petroleum corporation.
Humbly Grove Energy Limited owns and operates an underground gas storage facility in Hampshire, UK. With this acquisition, the EPH group adds further to its portfolio of underground gas storage facilities, which it currently owns in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Germany.
The Eversheds Sutherland team was led by UK Corporate Legal Director Jubilee Easo and supported by Associates Edward Lyons and Francisco Vasconcelos Pimentel, Real Estate Partner Phillip Tunney and Tax Principal Associate Helen Mackey and Associate Jannine Nicholas.
