Netherlands: Strengthening our clean energy finance practice

We have further strengthened our clean energy finance practice with the appointment of Pim van Leersum as Partner in Amsterdam as of 1 February 2020. Pim joined us from De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek and is an all-round corporate finance lawyer with particular expertise in green bonds, sustainability-linked loans and project finance in the clean energy domain.

In the first half of 2020, Pim advised Solarfields on an innovative junior debt solution designed to finance and acquire solar projects and on a complex project financing for the largest Dutch solar farm to date.
