18-05-2020
On 14 May 2020, the UK Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (“BEIS”) announced an extension to the consultation on the proposed amendments to the Contracts for Difference scheme (the “Consultation”).
BEIS will be accepting submissions from stakeholders until 11:45 pm on 29 May 2020. The previous deadline was 22 May 2020.
The BEIS recognised that an extension to the Consultation was required as stakeholders focus on their response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Please click here to review the BEIS stakeholder bulletin, which contains some interesting responses from BEIS further to issues raised in the stakeholder consultation events.
For further details on the Consultation, please visit our previous briefing (available here).
