Michelle T Davies Awarded Outstanding Contribution to Smart Energy

Michelle T Davies, Partner and International Head of Clean Energy and Sustainability, has won Outstanding Contribution to Smart Energy at this year’s inaugural Women Powering Smart Energy Awards event.

The ceremony took place on 26 February 2020 at the University Women’s Club, Mayfair London and was organised by Energy Connectors, a networking and conference business focused on the renewables sector. The awards are the result of a three-month consultation process with industry experts.

Speakers at the ceremony included: Fiona Reynolds, CEO at the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment; Aisling Ryan, Managing Partner at The Corporate Practice at WPP; UN Lead, Speaker and Trustee at Conservation South Luangwa, Fiona Howarth, CEO at Octopus Electric Vehicles.

Other winners included: Dr Nina Skorupska CBE FEI, Chief Executive of the REA (The Association for Renewable Energy and Clean Technology) and Fiona Reilly, CEO of FiRe Energy.

Steve Gladman, the founder and managing director of Energy Connectors, who organised the awards said: “I’d like to congratulate Michelle on her outstanding contribution and long term commitment to the clean energy and renewables sector. The sector is thriving, and it’s a testament to her drive and in-depth knowledge that it’s heading in the right direction, and inspiring new talent to come forward.”
