Eversheds advises Marks & Spencer on opening of flagship store in Paris


       The Paris office of the international law firm Eversheds LLP has advised Marks & Spencer on its return to France.

      Ten years after leaving the French territory, the iconic retailer is back with its first store opening on the prestigious avenue des Champs Elysées in Paris, on November 24th.

      Eversheds has advised Marks & Spencer on the commercial, IT and regulatory matters relating to the opening of its store and to the launch of its first international website,, which serves customers across France in Euros and ensures local delivery.

      The team at Eversheds consisted of Marc Lempérière, Senior Associate, assisted by Adeline Jobard (IT and commercial), Julien Haure (employment) and Justine Chauvel (regulation applicable to Establishment Receiving Public).
