As Mauritius prepares itself for the First Phase of the partial reopening of its economy, as from 01 April 2021, the Temporary Restriction of Movement Order currently in force in Mauritius, which was scheduled to end on 25 March 2021 at 8 p.m. has concurrently been extended to 30 April 2021 at 8 p.m.
As a general rule, the public has been urged to strictly adhere to sanitary measures, such as correctly wearing the face mask, observe social distancing, washing hands regularly and to make use of hand sanitizers, in order to curtail the spread of the virus.
Only some businesses will be allowed to operate as part of the phase plan for the partial reopening of the economy.
