Episode 6 - COVID-19 webinar - The return of the Corona Cast discussing Lockdown 2 - November 9

What was initially labelled as a ‘softer’ lockdown is anything but, with a plethora of criminal offences for executives who flout the new rules. In the latest Corona Cast, Eversheds Sutherland’s lead partners in the safety space answer your questions about what you need to do to stay on the right side of the law. During this podcast our panel discussed:

  • What do the new Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (England) (No. 4) Regulations 2020 actually say is permitted?
  • Criminal offences for breaching the rules – who can be liable and what for?
  • What is the test for office workers to physically go to work?
  • Travelling to work – how much should employers do to plan?
  • Is wellbeing a reason to go to a place of work?
  • Risk Assessment – what is a suitable and sufficient risk assessment?
  • Wearing Masks in an office environment – necessary or a bridge too far?
  • The latest RIDDOR guidance – what do the stats say?
  • organisations doing?
  • Furlough rules – and will furlough be extended?
  • Horizon Scanning: issues in Safety and Employment

We were joined on this webinar by MD of Fortis Therapy and Psychotherapist Alexis Powell-Howard, to address mental health in lockdown and how to support our people.
