It will be possible to reduce the period of legal proceedings regarding challenge of building permits from years to several months.
It can be achieved in case of implementation of the procedure of first priority consideration of the cases concerning challenge of building permits within short terms. Moreover, if such cases would be considered only by competent judges of the Administrative District Court. The members of DB Business Club pointed out not only reduction of period for challenge of building permits, but also faster legal proceedings, because justice after several years is not real justice. The idea is also supported by the Foreign Investors Council in Latvia.
