The child rearing leave is granted on the basis of Section 156 Paragraph 1 of the Labour Law (LL), which states that every employee is entitled to a child rearing leave in connection with the birth or adoption of a child. However, it is often asked after what time the employee will return to work and what the employer has to take into account.
