Our experience

Our aerospace, defense and security group advises major international and domestic clients from both the public and private sectors. We work with clients on a wide range of matters and issues, including mergers and acquisitions; joint ventures and other collaborative arrangements (e.g. teaming agreements); group reorganisations; export of military as "dual use" items US (ITAR, EAR), EU and EU Member state national regimes; procurement projects; procurement challenges, reviews and bid protests, litigation and supply chain disputes; REACH compliance; merger control clearance and foreign investment clearances (e.g. CFIUS); aerospace safety certifications; applicability of sanctions regimes (particularly UN, EU and US laws) and representation before Ministries of Defense and other regulatory bodies.

  • advising a worldwide aerospace provider on compliance with EU export control legislation and in respect of the export of specific military and “dual-use” items
  • handling challenging competition and antitrust issues on major defense acquisitions in a highly consolidated defense market area
