Global infrastructure funds and investments lawyers

Our Infrastructure Finance practice advises on a wide range of transactions. In addition to handling the various legal issues that arise in infrastructure-related financings, our experience extends to the efficient and effective management of these often complicated deals. We provide advice on equity investment in infrastructure, infrastructure asset driven M&A as well as construction, operation, disputes and the variations of existing contracts.

Our infrastructure lawyers are also well-positioned to provide critical risk reviews and to advise on appropriate risk distribution among the various parties to the financing. The review includes advice on critical project documentation, regulatory overlay and the tax considerations. Our ability to draw upon our international legal advisers in tax, M&A, real estate and other service areas means that we can advise clients on all aspects of their finance transactions.

Multilateral finance institutions

We work with a wide variety of multilateral institutions on their equity investments in infrastructure, project finance, government advisory/project procurement as well as any related construction or disputes advice required. We also work in co-operation with them to access new markets and follow global investment flows. Examples of our clients include EBRD, IFC, MFB, OPIC, EADB, ADB, DEG, KfW, NIB, Proparco, FMO and IBRD.

Investment bank lawyers

With over 30 years' experience with investment banks, we have been involved in all the major developments within this field over that period. We act for more asset managers than any other firm in the UK, which means we constantly have market intelligence of the issues affecting the industry. We provide advice to clients such as HSBC, Deutsche Bank, Standard Chartered and KfW on their equity investments in infrastructure projects.

Experienced infrastructure funds and investments lawyers
