Data Centers
There is no doubt that the global data center market is thriving and it is estimated to reach revenues of around $174 billion by 2023.
With an on-going migration of data from private servers to cloud-based solutions the rise of multi-cloud management platforms is set to increase worldwide. Currently, 67% of businesses opt for multi-cloud services to an outsourced data center as opposed to in-house servers and this is set to grow.
Our team of advisors are fully immersed in the sector, not only understanding the legal issues but also having a deep understanding of the data center market across multi-jurisdictions.
Lawyers experienced in Data Centers
For decades, we have advised developers, owners, operators, funders, and customers on all matters associated with data centers. From complex to innovative matters including enterprise, wholesale, co-location and managed services facilities, we can offer you the highest-quality guidance.
Our extensive experience allows us to anticipate and manage the challenges that are inherent to the digital infrastructure sector. This includes addressing the complex issues that relate to developing and financing sophisticated projects, acute advise on site selection and targeted due diligence, considering tax effective structuring, and of course, operational and regulatory considerations of owning and leasing data centers and negotiating customer contracts.
Electricity consumption is usually the single largest component of operational costs and we place an emphasis on thorough energy due diligence. When handling leasing and customer contracts - clear and concise electricity charging regimes which anticipate price volatility, is a must.
