The residential property market has come a long way from the traditional buy-to-sell or “cottage industry” PRS model. Institutions now view the sector as an asset class and have billions of dollars to invest. Existing US and European models are being looked at more closely to introduce scale, better management and more consistency to the sector.

Our PRS lawyers are responding to these market changes. We have brought together a team from our development, construction, environmental, planning and infrastructure consenting, finance and tax teams to create a dedicated build-to-rent (BTR) group. The group has been molded to meet the specific requirements of PRS deals.
