We are pleased to announce that seven lawyers have been named new partners in our law firm, effective April 1. Most of the new partners have been with the firm for nearly ten years and lead key practice areas. The new partners are Bożena Ciosek, Judith Y. Gliniecki, Daniel Grodziński, Grzegorz Kott, Michał Kurzyński, Ewa Łachowska-Brol and Tomasz Zalewski.

Bożena Ciosek has created and heads Wierzbowski Eversheds’ pharmaceutical and health care law practice. Based on client surveys, she is recommended by PLC Which Lawyer? 2008 for life sciences: competition/anti-trust.

Judith Y. Gliniecki, up to now Of Counsel to Wierzbowski Eversheds, is an attorney with extensive experience in both the United States and Poland. For 14 years, she has advised multinational companies investing in Poland. Her experience is particularly relevant to an international legal network with a strong standing among US businesses. Eversheds provides legal services to over 400 corporate clients based in the United States, including eight of the ten largest American companies.

Daniel Grodziński heads Wierzbowski Eversheds’ Wrocław office. His team advises domestic and foreign clients investing in Poland, especially in Lower Silesia, in matters involving commercial law, intellectual property, anti-trust and real estate law.

Grzegorz Kott heads our capital markets, insurance law and consumer finance group. With more than 14 years of experience in providing legal advice to large international corporations, he effectively coordinates and supervises multidisciplinary teams of lawyers, tax advisers and auditors working on projects involving complex financial transactions.

Michał Kurzyński is the head of the real estate and M&A group. He is a member of Eversheds’ international PPP team, which has carried out most of the public/private partnership projects in the UK. He is now contributing his experience in this field to major infrastructure projects being implemented in Poland. Michał Kurzyński led the team advising the Polish government in preparation of the Polish-Ukrainian bid to host the Euro 2012 European Football Championship.

Ewa Łachowska-Brol is responsible for our labour law practice and legal advice in the transport sector. Thanks to her clients’ opinions, the labour law practice at Wierzbowski Eversheds is recommended by PLC Which Lawyer? 2008.

Tomasz Zalewski heads the intellectual property and public procurement team. He also has many years of practice advising companies on corporate issues. Tomasz Zalewski is recommended by The European Legal 500: Europe, Middle East & Africa in the field of IP and IT law.
