EuroZamówienia: our new public procurement portal

  • Poland

We are pleased to announce that in May our law firm rolled out its new online service devoted to EU-related issues of public procurement: EuroZamó

The service is run by lawyers from the public procurement team at our law firm, Tomasz Zalewski, Michał Drozdowicz and Aleksandra Kunkiel-Kryńska.

“As lawyers involved in public procurement law in Poland, we felt the need for a forum for lively discussion of issues involving the relationship between Polish law and interpretation and EU law,” said Wierzbowski Eversheds partner Tomasz Zalewski, who originated the concept. “We are concerned about the lack of Polish commentaries on decisions by the European Court of Justice that are of vital importance for public procurement throughout the EU.”

As Zalewski explained, “Through the EuroProcurement service we would like to fill that gap somewhat and respond on a current basis to any issues arising under EU law that have an important impact on public procurement in Poland, including creation and application of the law. We would also like to review various well-known legal issues from the European perspective.”

We invite all our readers to visit the site and share any thoughts or comments they may have.

The service is available only in Polish.
