  • Poland

    25-03-2014

Attorney at law Paweł Lipski has been promoted to partner at Wierzbowski Eversheds. Together with Tomasz Zalewski, he will head the law firm’s Intellectual Property and E-business teams.

Paweł Lipski has been associated with Wierzbowski Eversheds since 2005, when he joined the team as a winner of the “Grasz o staż” internship competition. In 2006 he interned at the London office of Eversheds in the IT & Outsourcing practice. In 2012 he completed postgraduate studies in copyright law, with distinction, at King’s College London.

Lipski specializes in the law of intellectual property and e-business. He actively participates in raising the profile of this practice at the firm and in developing the growth strategy for the practice, including initiatives connected with Internet Start Up, a legal advice program for internet and high-tech projects, and the intellectual property and Internet blog IPwSieci.

Chambers Europe 2013 included Lipski in its list of “associates to watch.” His high position in the rankings comes thanks to the opinions of clients, who appreciate the high level of the advice he provides and his understanding for their individual needs.

Tomasz Zalewski, the partner in charge of the Intellectual Property, E-business and Public Procurement teams, commented: “Paweł has moved from the position of a starting lawyer at the firm to senior associate, and now will become a partner. We are pleased because this shows that the firm is a workplace providing opportunities for growth.”

Zalewski added: “Technology continually moves forward, creating new challenges in copyright law and other areas of intellectual property. We intend to consistently build our position as a leader in these fields, as witnessed by our strong, coordinated team of specialists.”
