For the eleventh time, the European Law Students' Association ELSA Poland and Wierzbowski Eversheds are organising the Law Games competition. The enrolment begins on 21 March 21 2016.
XI edition of Law Games is addressed to the students of the fourth and fifth year of law studies, applicants in their first year and law graduates. The main prize in the competition is the opportunity of a 3-month paid internship at Wierzbowski Eversheds.
An online test, which checks the knowledge from several areas of the law, will start the qualifications for the competition and select the finalists. In the finals, the participants will have to solve a case study assignment in the field of competition and real estate laws, prepared by the lawyers from Wierzbowski Eversheds. The choice of the final case study’s subject should be determined at the stage of registration.
In this year's contest the participants will have to demonstrate a good knowledge of English - the final task, in addition to the standard Polish version, will require a short summary in English.
The best participants will receive attractive prizes. In addition to the main prize, which is the internship at Wierzbowski Eversheds, there are book prizes for the winners and small gifts for all finalists.
- We hope that, as in previous years, the competition will meet with great interest, and its interesting formula will encourage young lawyers, for whom new work experience is of real value in times of fierce competition in the labour market, to apply for internships in an international organisation - says Krzysztof Wierzbowski, managing partner of Wierzbowski Eversheds. - Among our employees are people who during their internship surprised us with their knowledge, enthusiasm and creative ability to solve difficult problems, which meant that we proposed to extend our cooperation. I believe that this time will be the same and I keep my fingers crossed for all the candidates - adds Krzysztof Wierzbowski.
