Webinar. Contractual work: pandemic lessons
- Russia
30-09-2020
Description:
The COVID-19 pandemic has become a test not only for the Russian economy, but also for its legal environment: many mechanisms frozen in conditions of relative stability have been revealed in a new way in current force majeure.
During the upcoming webinar Eversheds Sutherland offers an opportunity to discuss the accumulated practical and judicial experience useful both in contract work and in the course of commercial negotiations. In this webinar session we will review main problems associated with contractual mechanisms aimed at protecting the parties in the event of a significant deterioration of the financial situation, as well as analyze the conditions and consequences of termination of the contract. The positions of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation in the field of contract law published during the pandemic will also not be ignored.
Eversheds Sutherland’s associates will review the controversial aspects and give practical advice on drafting particular sections of contracts of various types.
