Eversheds Sutherland has advised Aprendere Skolor

    Eversheds Sutherland has advised Aprendere Skolor AB (publ) in connection with the entering into of an agreement to acquire all shares in Proffsgymnasiet Örebro AB. The acquisition is expected to close on 1 February 2023.  

    Proffsgymnasiet was founded in 1999 and was formerly called Fordonsutbildningar and was then Örebro's first independent high school. Since 2020, it has been operating in new industrial premises just outside the city centre of Örebro, in the Berglunda industrial area. Proffsgymnasiet has invested in premises that are well suited to its activities and provide students and teachers with good conditions for both theoretical and practical lessons. 

    Aprendere operates a total of 14 units in primary school, primary special school, upper secondary school and upper secondary special school. The company was founded in 2008 with the acquisition of the Skolgrunden primary school. Additional schools have since been organically started or acquired.  

    Aprendere currently has around 1,300 students and 335 employees. Most of the schools are located in Stockholm County and the surrounding area, but there are also operations in Anderstorp, Falköping and Östersund, among others.
