Wie kann die Kurzarbeit umgesetzt werden?

    Schritt 1: Es muss eine Vereinbarung in Form einer Betriebsvereinbarung mit dem Betriebsrat oder mit jedem einzelnen Arbeitnehmer (in Betrieben, in denen kein Betriebsrat eingerichtet ist) abgeschlossen werden. Wenn Arbeitnehmer aufgrund der derzeitigen Situation nicht anwesend sind, so ist es nach Information der WKO derzeit ausreichend, dass entsprechende Korrespondenz mit dem Arbeitnehmer, in der er der Kurzarbeit zustimmt (E-Mail, SMS oder What’s App) beilegt.

    Schritt 2: Der Arbeitgeber muss die Kurzarbeit beim AMS mit dem Antragsformular (COVID-19 Kurzarbeitsbeihilfe) beantragen.

    Schritt 3: Das AMS leitet das Antragsformular mit der Betriebsvereinbarung (oder der individuellen Vereinbarung) an die Sozialpartner weiter, um die Kurzarbeit innerhalb von 48 Stunden zu genehmigen oder abzulehnen.
