Eversheds Attorneys Ltd. has invited new Partners

    Attorney at Law Niina Mickelsson and Attorney at Law Ismo Kallioniemi have been invited to become partners in Eversheds Attorneys Ltd. Both have previously worked for Eversheds as Specialist Counsels.

    Niina Mickelsson assists our clients in dispute resolution and in contractual matters. Niina has extensive experience in civil trials and has assisted in, inter alia, damages cases and disputes related to funding arrangements. She also assists our clients in criminal cases.

    In addition, she has diverse experience in the field of business law, including commercial agreements and matters related to company law as well as insolvency issues. Mickelsson has recently operated in follow-on damage case related to the asphalt cartel and has partnered successfully in the team handling the bankruptcy estate of Talvivaara Sotkamo Ltd.

    Along with becoming a partner, Mickelsson will head the Dispute Resolution team of Eversheds Finland. Niina Mickelsson has acted as an Attorney at Law since 2008, and before transferring to Eversheds she worked for Krogerus Attorneys Ltd.

    Ismo Kallioniemi is specialised in demanding civil and criminal litigation as well as in criminal investigations. He has extensive experience in matters related to proprietary information and IPR, having advised in matters related to industrial espionage, misappropriation of proprietary information, copyright crimes, patents, protection of databases as well as in highly confidential matters related to international military weapons trade, international oil trade, dual use products and the like.

    In addition to his work as an Attorney, Ismo Kallioniemi has authored several academic articles and acted as a representative expert of the Finnish Bar Association in the preparation of the forthcoming Foreign and Military Intelligence Act. Kallioniemi has acted as an Attorney at Law since 2001, and prior to transferring to Eversheds in 2010, he worked for Hannes Snellman Attorneys Ltd.
