Eversheds Attorneys Ltd. opens an office in Oulu

    Eversheds Attorneys Ltd. expands its operations into northern Finland and opens its sixth Finnish office in Oulu. Eversheds Attorneys is one of Finland’s leading business law firms and is part of the international Eversheds Sutherland.

    Attorney-at-Law Kirsi Putkonen and Attorney-at-Law Kaija Pulkkinen have been invited as Partners of Eversheds Attorneys to work in the Oulu office. They both have developed a wealth of experience in business law and extensive knowledge of both the corporate landscape and the public sector.

    “It is great to be able to join Eversheds Attorneys in Finland and simultaneously become involved in the international operation of Eversheds Sutherland. The Oulu region is developing and growing – it is the domicile of many international companies. We are excited to continue co-operation with our local clients supported by an even more extensive service offering and chain of law firms,” Kirsi Putkonen and Kaija Pulkkinen note.

    The main focus of the operations in Oulu and northern Finland is on business law. Kirsi Putkonen and Kaija Pulkkinen have been working in the area ever since 2001. The Oulu office aims to grow and develop further as a strong operator in the region.

    The Oulu office will be headed by Attorney-at-Law, Partner Kirsi Putkonen, who has strong experience in international business law, especially corporate transactions and different agreements both in Finland and in international contexts. The second Partner in the Oulu office will be Attorney-at-Law Kaija Pulkkinen, who likewise has extensive experience in the field of international business law, with a focus on labour law, corporate transactions, public sector arrangements and public procurements. Kirsi Putkonen, Kaija Pulkkinen and Associates Rosa Väänänen and Jenna Kallioniemi will transfer to Eversheds Attorneys from Attorneys-at-Law Magnusson Ltd.
