WTR 1000 2021: Once again good rankings for our IP team

    World Trademark Review has published the WTR 1000 results for 2021, in which our IP team again ranked well.

    Our office was ranked in the silver category in the following:

    -       Enforcement and litigation

    -       Prosecution and strategy

    Our company is described in the publication as follows:

    “The Finnish wing of global outfit Eversheds Sutherland is a force to be reckoned with. The Helsinki-based ensemble taps into the rich international resources at its disposal to effectively serve customers worldwide; and through subsidiary Heinonen & Co, it also registers an astonishing number of marks each year.”

    In addition, our IP team leader, Managing Partner Petteri Häkkänen was again awarded gold ranking in the publication. The following was said of Häkkänen:

    “Main man Häkkänen is hailed as an ‘all-round trademark guru’ by peers: ‘He is always someone I have looked up to and if I have a problem I do not know how to solve, I turn to him. He is just unbelievably good.’”

    In addition, Specialist Counsel Kati Rantala and Senior Associate Lassi Lepistö were ranked in the bronze category. The following was said of them:
