Eversheds Sutherland and CMS Francis Lefebvre Avocats on the sale by Hamon Group of its Process Heat Exchanger division to Grossmann Group

    CMS Francis Lefebvre Avocats advised the Hamon & Cie (International) SA group on the sale of its Process Heat Exchanger division, including Hamon D'Hondt and its subsidiaries in Saudi Arabia, Russia and in Korea, to the Grossmann Group.

    The Hamon Group is a global player in the field of engineering and contracting (engineering, construction and project management). Its activities include the design, the manufacture of key components, the installation and maintenance of cooling systems, air pollution control systems, recovery boilers (HRSG) and chimneys, for production of electricity, oil and gas and some other heavy industrial sectors such as metallurgy, glassmaking, chemistry. Hamon is listed on Euronext Brussels.

    Active in the field of engineering, procurement and construction, the Grossmann Group, advised by Eversheds Sutherland, provides complete and turnkey solutions to its customers, particularly in the field of water, gas and energy treatment.

    As a strategic investor, the Grossmann Group wishes to pursue the development of Process Heat Exchanger and its activities related to the design and production of heat exchangers mainly for the chemical and petrochemical industry, and the energy and heat recovery sector.

    By finalizing the sale of its Process Heat Exchanger division, Hamon is taking a new step forward in the execution of its transformation plan by continuing its withdrawal from non-strategic activities and a refocusing of its core activities on its engineering business.
