  • Germany

    14-11-2017

Alexander Niethammer and Steffen Morawietz authored the German chapter of the inaugural edition of The International Comparative Legal Guide to: Cybersecurity 2018. This guide addresses the most important issues practitioners face on the intersection of technology and law, in particular since the financial and reputational costs associated with a significant data breach can be catastrophic, and provides experienced local insights into cybersecurity regulations in 26 jurisdictions worldwide. The areas of law cover criminal activity, applicable laws, specific sectors and corporate governance, litigation, insurance, employees as well as investigatory and police power. This article was first published in the 2018 edition of The International Comparative Legal Guide to: Cybersecurity, published in October 2017 by Global Legal Group Ltd, London.
