Eversheds Sutherland advises EG Group on the acquisition of KMS Autohof group in Germany

    Eversheds Sutherland has advised EG group on the acquisition of KMS Autohof group. KMS Autohof group which is based in Nordhorn, Germany, operates ten truck stops, six fast food restaurants and two hotels throughout Germany. Following the merger clearance process with the German federal cartel office, the transaction was closed on 18 January 2021. The parties have agreed not to reveal any terms of the transaction.

    Founded in 2001 by the brothers Zuber and Mohsin Issa, EG group is today a leading global independent convenience retailer with a diversified portfolio of over 6000 sites across ten countries in North America, Europe and Australia, and more than 45,000 employees globally.
