Eversheds Sutherland are the legal advisers for the Social Housing PPP Programme, consisting of three bundles that will ultimately deliver 1500 new homes in the coming years. This was the second project in this bundle. The first bundle in the project reached financial close earlier this year. This bundle involves Torc Housing, a consortium comprising Kajima, Equitix, JJ Rhatigan, OHL Construcción, Derwent Facilities Management and Túath Housing Association, in the delivery of 465 social housing units.

Mark Varian, Partner in the Eversheds Sutherland Projects, Construction and PPP team said; “Eversheds Sutherland is delighted to have been involved in this important project. As the legal advisors on Ireland’s PPPs in the area of social housing, we are very pleased that construction of the new homes under this programme will now commence in counties Cork, Galway, Roscommon, Clare, Waterford and Kildare.”

Bundle 2 of the Social Housing PPP programme encompasses the financing, design, construction and maintenance of six social housing developments creating over 460 new homes. Bundle 2 is being funded by Nord/LB.
