Asset managers planning on moving to Dublin

It has been reported that of more than 40 large asset managers with significant operations in the UK, a third have outlined their plans to beef up or move part of their operations to Dublin or Luxembourg. Baring Asset Management, the $300 billion US group, is to open a Dublin office, while Morgan Stanley Investment Management has said it will expand its business in Dublin. Legg Mason, the $754 billion US investment manager, is also set to open a Dublin office this year.
