We partnered with The Londonderry Chamber of Commerce to host a 'Brexit: What's Next?' Breakfast Briefing.

For weeks now, the debate around 'This Deal, That Deal, No Deal or Even No Brexit' has dominated all aspects of life. With only weeks to go until the proposed withdrawal date businesses, workers, commentators and politicians are now trying to unravel the implications of the ongoing process to ensure that businesses across the Island of Ireland and Northern Ireland are ready for the changing landscape come the end of March 2019.

The event this morning seeked to explore and examine preparations and contingencies, the impacts both positive and negative and the potential opportunities for businesses Post-Brexit.

Peter Curran, Commercial Partner gave the opening address, providing context for the issues facing businesses in Derry as Brexit approaches, in particular encouraging businesses to audit existing contracts to understand their areas of exposure.

Brian McGrath, Londonderry Chamber; Aodhán Connolly, NI Retail Consortium and Lisa Bryson, our Employment Partner in Belfast, took part in the very interesting and enlightening panel discussions.
